Celebrate the Civil Rights leader’s life and legacy with a service event followed by an optional guided nature walk. Get ready to spend some time out on the watershed with your friends and family, while preserving Marin’s unique biodiversity!

The Mt. Tam Watershed’s grassy meadows are home to sun-loving plants and animals and are hunting grounds for birds of prey. The fruits of our open canopy hardwoods – oak, bay and madrone trees – nourish abundant forest wildlife. Help us improve the oak woodland and grassland habitat near Bon Tempe Lake by removing invasive French broom. You’ll be helping to uncover healthy plant communities that support a high diversity of wildlife.
