LUNCHTIME TALK ON VEGETATION MANAGEMENT ON MT. TAM

California Alpine Club, 730 Panoramic Hwy, Mill Valley

The California Alpine Club will be welcoming their members and friends for lunch and a panel discussion about vegetation management on Mt. Tamalpais. All are welcome. Speakers currently include:

  • Carl Sanders, Natural Resources Program Manager, Marin Water
  • Danny Franco, Project Manager, Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy 

We'll hear about about various methods of vegetation management that visitors may have seen on the Mt. Tamalpais Watershed, how they came to pass, present practices, and trends. We'll also hear about the Marin Regional Forest Health Strategy put forth by the One Tam partnership, and how that's helping protect Marin's forests.

Bring your own lunch. The Alpine Club will provide coffee, tea, drinks, and dessert.
