Hike in Rush Creek

Join Ranger James for a hike up and along the Bahia Ridge in the beautiful Rush Creek Preserve. We'll take a leisurely pace as we make our way through unique manzanita woodlands and hybrid oak forests. Friendly dogs are okay but must be on leash. Distance: Approximately 2 miles; elevation gain: 200 feet. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. To confirm the status, check the calendar or call (415) 473-2816 two hours before the event. Directions: Meet at the Bahia Trail entrance at the intersection of Bahia Dr and Topaz Dr. From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the Atherton Ave exit east approximately 1 mile, turn left onto Bugeia Ln, which turns into Bahia Dr at the "y." Follow Bahia Dr approximately 0.5 miles; the trailhead is on the left at the intersection of Bahia Dr and Topaz Dr.
