Hamilton Wetlands Birds

Join us for an easy stroll along the Hamilton Wetlands where we’ll look for waterfowl, shorebirds, and other wildlife. Since it's restoration in 2014 this area has become a magnet for overwintering birds who take advantage of the abundance of food the tidal influence offers. We’ll go for a slow walk as we discuss identification and life histories of the birds we see. Total miles: 2.5. There is little elevation change. Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Registration is required.
