Start your adventure on Mt. Tam with a visit to the Tam Van, our mobile visitor center! Here are some ways you can explore with us:

• Get a tutorial on how to join City Nature Challenge this weekend (April 29-May 2) and using the iNaturalist app 
• Meet our stuffed badger specimen and learn about this beautiful animal from up close
• Test your animal ID skills and win prizes and animal tattoos
• Learn how to join our wildlife camera study
• Learn about the rare foothill yellow-legged frogs in Carson Falls and how to protect them
• Get a map and general information about Mt. Tam

Navigate to “Azalea Hill trail” in google maps, located above Fairfax- the Tam Van will be located at the intersection of Bolinas-Fairfax Road and Pine Mountain Fire Road. Parking can fill up on sunny weekend afternoons.
