Summer Botany at Bull Point
Source: Marin County Parks
Meet at the Bull Point trailhead in Point Reyes National Seashore.
Thursday, July 8, 2021, 10am – 2pm

The moist, coastal climate of Point Reyes makes this one of the few places in Marin to enjoy a diverse array of wildflowers during the summer. With most of the county showing signs of summer dryness, we’ll take advantage of habitats ranging from freshwater marsh to coastal dunes, which support an assortment of unique plants and many gorgeous flowers this time of year.
Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. Extreme weather conditions cancel: Call (415) 473-6086 after 8 am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.
Questions: Contact Shannon Burke at SBurke@marincounty.org
Directions: From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn right onto Hwy 1 and go 2 miles. Turn left onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd and go 11.7 miles. Trailhead is on the left (before the North Beach turnoff).
