Deer Island Preserve

Join a ranger for a guided walk on the Deer Island Loop Trail. We'll talk about the area's fascinating history while enjoying the sunrise. If the weather cooperates, there should be some fantastic photography opportunities. Distance: 2 miles; elevation gain: 130 feet. Friendly dogs are ok but must be on a leash. Directions: Directions: From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for Atherton Ave, east 1.7 miles. Turn right onto Olive Ave and left onto Deer Island Ln. The gate is on your right.
