Senior Stroll: Indian Valley
Sunday, February 6, 2022, 10 – 11:30am

This short walk will take us along a level fire road. If we've had enough rain to fill the ponds, we might be treated to the singing of treefrogs or a glimpse at a newt. We'll discuss what these amphibians are up to, as well as any other interesting things we find along the way.
Due to the Omicron variant’s high infectivity rate, in situations where you cannot maintain social distance, we recommend that all participants wear a mask. Enhanced face coverings are strongly encouraged (e.g., KN95, N95, respirator masks, or double masks).
Remember to bring binoculars if you have them. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.
Registration is not required. For more information contact, Shannon Burke at SBurke@marincounty.org.
Directions: Meet at the College of Marin Indian Valley Campus in Novato, parking lot 6 (1800 Ignacio Blvd). From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the Ignacio Blvd/Bel Marin Keys Blvd exit west onto Ignacio Blvd approximately 2.5 miles all the way through campus.
