Senior Stroll on the Earthquake Trail

Meet in the large parking area on the other side of the road from the Bear Valley Visitor Center in Pt Reyes.

This short trail is a lovely place to spend a summer morning. We'll follow the level pathway as it passes through shaded woodlands and open meadows as we keep an eye out for birds, butterflies, and flowers, and of course, we'll see the evidence found here of the 1906 Earthquake.
Remember to bring binoculars if you have them. Extreme weather conditions cancel: Call (415) 473-6086 after 8 am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.

Directions: From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn right onto Hwy 1. Go 500 feet, turn left onto Bear Valley Rd. 0.6 miles, turn left on Bear Valley Visitor Center Access Rd. The parking area is on the left, past the driveway for the Red Barn.,
