Corte Madera Pathway
Sunday, October 10, 2021, 10 – 11:30am

The pathway that runs along the lower reaches of Corte Madera Creek can be a fabulous place to get close looks at a variety of shorebirds and waterfowl, plus there are usually land birds to be found in the bushes and trees. We'll go for a slow walk along this paved, level path, taking advantage of the benches along the way as we discuss the Corte Madera Creek watershed and its ecological importance.
Please remember to bring binoculars if you have them. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend this event.
Air Quality Index (AQI) that exceeds 150 on AirNow.gov or other extreme weather may cancel events. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.
No registration is required.
For more information, please contact Shannon Burke at SBurke@marincounty.org.
Directions: Meet at Niven Park. From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west .2 miles. Turn left at the first streetlight onto Barry Way. Turn left onto Drakes Landing Rd. Niven Park is on the corner of Barry Way and Drakes Landing Rd.
