Directions: Meet at the Coastal Trail trailhead in the Marin Headlands at McCullough and Conzelman Rd., From Hwy 101, take the exit for Alexander Ave. Follow signs to the Marin Headlands and then toward Hawk Hill. At the top of McCullough Rd, turn right onto Conzelman Rd. The parking lot is immediately on the right side of the roundabout.

This trail is one of the best places to see the early blooming wildflowers of the Marin Headlands. We'll follow a well-maintained dirt road along a sheltered, north-facing slope where some "coastal specialties" should be flowering. This is an out and back walk with a gradual downhill slope on the way out and a gradual uphill slope on the way back.
We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Remember to bring binoculars if you have them. Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 AM on the day of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.
