Meet in the parking lot at the Rock Spring trailhead on Mt Tam.
Tuesday, August 31, 2021, 10am – 2pm

The many trails in this area traverse some of the most diverse and picturesque land in the county, making this a lovely place to spend a summer day. Some trail options are rocky and somewhat steep so wear sturdy shoes. Be sure to bring layering options as you never know if we'll be over or under the fog at this time of year. Distance: 3 miles. Elevation change: 320’.
Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. Extreme weather cancels and events may be canceled if Air Quality Index (AQI) exceeds 150 on AirNow.gov. Check calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if cancelled. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.
