Indian Valley

We'll start the day looking for evidence of breeding frogs, toads, and newts at the seasonal ponds, then we'll slowly ascend to the ridge, stopping all along the way to enjoy flowers, birds, and other wild wonders. We'll pass through an area carpeted with a plant known as warrior's plume; with luck, it will be in full bloom.

We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Remember to bring a lunch and binoculars if you have them. Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 AM on the day of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.

Registration is not required. Save time on the day of the event by signing in now. For more information, contact Naturalist Shannon
