Historic McNears Beach Park
Sunday, February 13, 2022, 1 – 2pm

Come learn about the diverse and rich history of McNears Beach Park. We will spend our time together learning about the local First Peoples, Colonial California, the McNears family, and this area's Chinese community.
Due to the Omicron variant’s high infectivity rate, in situations where you cannot maintain social distance, we recommend that all participants wear a mask. Enhanced face coverings are strongly encouraged (e.g., KN95, N95, respirator masks, or double masks).
Please dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Remember to bring a water bottle, snack, sunscreen, hat, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service animals) are allowed at this park. Park entrance fee is waived for participants. Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar on the morning of the event to see if it is canceled.
Registration is not required. For more information, contact Ranger Jeffrey at JGerbic@marincounty.org.
