Family Walk: Indian Valley

Indian Valley Preserve
Tuesday, June 13, 2023, 10am – 1pm
We’ll start the day looking for bugs and lizards, and if we’re lucky we might even find young frogs or toads that are looking for a cool, moist place to hide for the summer. After that we’ll head into the forest which is also a good place to find wildlife. Total miles: 1.5. Elevation change: 75'. Remember to bring lunch. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Be sure to check the calendar two hours before the event to confirm the status. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel.

Directions: Meet at the College of Marin Indian Valley Campus in Novato, parking lot 5 (1800 Ignacio Blvd). From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the Ignacio Blvd/Bel Marin Keys Blvd exit west onto Ignacio Blvd approximately 2.5 miles all the way through campus.
