Family Walk: Indian Valley

Indian Valley Preserve

We’ll begin the day learning about the frogs, toads, salamanders, and insects that live in the ponds at the start of the valley, and then we’ll walk up to the waterfall, which is a perfect place to enjoy lunch by the shallow pools. Total miles: 1.5. Elevation change: 75'. Remember to bring lunch. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel.

Directions: Meet at the College of Marin Indian Valley Campus in Novato, parking lot 6 (1800 Ignacio Blvd). From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the Ignacio Blvd/Bel Marin Keys Blvd exit west onto Ignacio Blvd approximately 2.5 miles all the way through campus.
