One of the many rare plants in Marin County is an inconspicuous nodding white lily called the fragrant fritillary. We'll visit a small population that should be in bloom this early in the season. We'll then head up the trail to see other early bloomers such as shooting stars, milkmaids, star lily, and maybe a few surprises.
Remember to bring a lunch and binoculars if you have them. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.
Registration is not required. For more information contact, Shannon Burke at SBurke@marincounty.org.
