Devil’s Gulch
Tuesday, November 30, 2021, 10am – 2pm

Tucked in a canyon of San Geronimo Valley, this lovely trail follows a salmon-bearing creek where, with rain and luck, we might spot fish moving upstream. We'll explore the lush understory, keep an eye out for birds, see if we can pick out California nutmeg among the other conifers, and try to find a sunny spot for lunch. Dress warmly as it can be very cold in this shaded canyon.
Please remember to bring a lunch and binoculars if you have them. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend this event. Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.
No registration is required. For more information, contact Naturalist Shannon at SBurke@marincounty.org.
Directions: Meet in the roadside parking lot. From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 16.7 miles, the parking area is on the left (past Samuel P Taylor Park camping grounds).
