CANCELLED - Rush Creek
This walk takes us along the edge of a tidal wetland that is a haven for waterfowl and shorebirds. We'll see ducks in fresh breeding plumage and will keep an eye out for peregrine falcons and other raptors that frequent this spot during the winter months. The route is on level ground, but the road sometimes gets quite muddy, so wear appropriate footwear.
Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed.
Be sure to check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Factors including illness, adverse weather, or Air Quality Index (AQI) that exceeds 150 on AirNow.gov may cancel events.

Directions: Meet at the Pinheiro Fire Rd gate on Binford Rd in Novato. From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for Atherton Ave east. Turn left onto Binford Rd. The gate is on the right.
