Drop by and meet open space rangers on the Ring Mountain Fire Road, near Turtle Rock. Enjoy a cool beverage and ask the rangers anything you want to know about the preserve, its unique ecology, and the trail system. Friendly dogs but must be on a leash and stay on designated roads and trail. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel.
Directions: Enter the preserve at Phyllis Ellman trailhead on Paradise Drive in Corte Madera. From Hwy 101 in Corte Madera, take the exit for Tamalpais Drive East. Go straight onto San Clemente, which merges into Paradise Drive after 0.4 miles. Follow Paradise Drive approximately 1 mile (go past Westward Drive). The gate is on the right.
