Saturday, March 11, 2023, 9 – 11am

Join a ranger to learn the basics of birding and identification. We'll discuss species commonly found in the area this time of year, their unique attributes, and share cool facts. Distance: 1.8 miles on mostly flat fire road. All ages are welcome. Spaces are limited. Register in advance. Bring water, binoculars (if you have them), and a guide book. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed.  Illness, adverse weather, or poor air quality may cancel; if in doubt text or call (415) 497-1234 two hours before the event to confirm the status.

Directions: Meet at the Pinheiro Fire Rd gate on Binford Rd in Novato. From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for Atherton Ave east. Turn left onto Binford Rd. The gate is on the right.
