The breeding season is in full swing, the last of our migratory breeding birds are arriving, and everyone is advertising their territory and trying to impress each other. We will take some time teasing out the voices of each species as we discuss why birds sing and how different groups learn to sing and develop their songs.
We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Remember to bring a lunch and binoculars if you have them. Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 AM on the day of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.
Registration is not required. Save time on the day of the event by signing in now. For more information, contact Naturalist Shannon.
