Directions: Meet at the Outer Levee Trailhead., From Hwy 101 in San Rafael, take the N San Pedro Rd exit east and turn left Vendola Dr. MCOSD gate is at the end, on the left. Street parking only. Please be respectful of residents. Do not block streets, entrances, or driveways.

Take a leisurely hike and get to know the preserve and its inhabitants. As we make our way on the trail, keep an eye out for the gorgeous birds in this area.
We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Please dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Remember to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, a snack, a hat, and binoculars if you have them. Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar on the day of the event to see if it is canceled.
