Birds at Las Gallinas

The ponds at the Las Gallinas water treatment facility are fabulous places to get close looks at various waterfowl! Plus, there are usually plenty of hawks hunting for rodents and other prey in the surrounding fields.

Remember to bring a snack and binoculars if you have them. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Adverse weather may cancel events. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.

Registration is not required. For more information contact, Shannon Burke at SBurke@marincounty.org.
