50th Anniversary: Wildflowers of Mount Burdell

Celebrate our 50th anniversary by visiting one of the best wildflower spots in the county. We'll see if we can find 50 different species as we explore a variety of habitats, including volcanic outcrops, serpentine soils, freshwater springs, and oak woodlands. The flora of this Novato preserve is incredibly diverse and includes several rare plants.

We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Remember to bring a lunch and binoculars if you have them. Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 AM on the day of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.

Registration is not required. Save time on the day of the event by signing in now. For more information, contact Naturalist Shannon.
