Mt. Tamalpais Trail Stewardship Day With Marin Water
Details:
Join Marin Water to improve your favorite trails on the Mt. Tam Watershed as part of our Trail Stewardship Days! Taking place on one Saturday of each month, this exciting ongoing trail stewardship initiative is the result of a collaboration with Redwood Trails Alliance.
During this event, we will be doing rock and tread work near Alpine Lake to improve trail drainage and accessibility. All experience levels are welcome, but volunteers should be prepared to hike a few miles and expect to be using tools for a period of time. Participants are asked to wear long pants and good hiking shoes. Gloves and tools are provided.
Trail events are suitable for ages 13 and up, with parental supervision required for volunteers under 16. Specific details about where to meet and how to prepare for this event will be provided upon registration. Location and tasks are subject to change, depending on weather.
