Saturday, September 22, 2018, 9am - 12pm: MMWD Habitat Restoration: Potrero Meadow Diversity
Potrero Meadow provides a lush open area amidst the forest canopy at 2,000 feet elevation. This rare wet meadow supports a diversity of rare plants and animals and is a destination for botanists and hikers alike. Join us as we remove young Douglas-fir trees from the periphery of the meadow.
Suitable for ages 13 and up. Minors under the age of 16 must have a guardian present. Meet at the Lake Lagunitas Parking Lot. Volunteers will be driven the 2 miles to the restoration site. No RSVP required. NOTE: Call to check for Red Flag Warnings and watershed closures at 415-945-1180.
