Habitat Restoration & Holiday Wreath Making Workshop
Rock Spring Meadow
Saturday November 18, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Oak woodland and grassland habitat are threatened by shade producing Douglas-fir trees. Our staff and volunteers regularly remove these rapid spreaders. Join Marin Water and Mt. Tamalpais State Parks for a morning of habitat restoration followed by an afternoon of crafting with the beautiful and pleasant smelling evergreen branches. Go home with holiday wreaths and decorations for your home.

RSVP: This event is FREE but registration is required. For more information and directions to the meeting location please RSVP here. All tools and supplies are provided. The whole family is welcome! The event is family-friendly with parental supervision for youth up to age 16. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a permission slip signed by a parent.

What to bring: As with all events please bring a water bottle, closed toe shoes and clothes for variable weather. We will provide tools, snacks, hot beverages, and water. Bring your lunch!

Schedule: Habitat Restoration activity runs from 10 until noon. After a lunch break (please bring your own lunch, we will provide hot and cold drinks) the crafting lesson goes from 12:30 to 2:00 pm.
